About Primate's World Relief & Dev...

Ride for The Primate's World Relief and Development Fund, the Anglican Church of Canada’s agency for sustainable development, relief, refugees, and global justice!

This year PWRDF will pedal to provide community health workers in Africa with bicycles. Part nurse, part social worker, part friend, part advocate, part educator, part nutritionist—community health workers are the backbone of PWRDF health programs in hundreds of villages around the world. Community health workers visit, advise, and teach pregnant women throughout their pregnancies and after they give birth. A bicycle allows a worker to visit more pregnant women and mothers of young children in the communities where they live.

All of the funds raised will be matched by the Government of Canada 6:1, so every $100 raised will become $700.00 towards helping mothers and babies thrive!
